青山恩田村は、現在の渋谷区神宮前、原宿周辺に位置していました。
当時このあたりは、このような水車があちこちで見られるような農村地帯だったと考えられ、現在は地下に埋められてしまった渋谷川（恩田川）が近くを流れていました。
この水車はその渋谷川沿いに造られ、江戸の名所の一つとなりました。
忙しく働く人々、水の勢いで回り続ける水車、そして遠くに静かにそびえる富士山――その対比がとても魅力的に描かれています。
This is a 120mm x 180mm goshuin stamp book.
The cover uses high-quality paper with a thickness of 3mm.
The interior uses quite sturdy Japanese paper.
It has the standard 48 pages.
The cover features Katsushika Hokusai's “Thirty-six Views of Mount Fuji: Waterwheel at Onda”.
Aoyama Onda Village was located in the area around present-day Jingumae and Harajuku in Shibuya Ward.
At that time, this area was considered a rural zone where such waterwheels could be seen everywhere. The Shibuya River (Onda River), now buried underground, flowed nearby.
This waterwheel was built along the Shibuya River and became one of Edo's famous sights.
The contrast is depicted very attractively: the busy workers, the waterwheel turning continuously with the force of the water, and Mount Fuji quietly towering in the distance.
